Janice L. Guskey nee Ciecko, age 76 of Mount Prospect. Born February 5, 1941 in Chicago she died Wednesday September 27, 2017. Janice was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker for many years before entering the workforce. She worked in office administration for many years at both Zenith Corporation and UOP, retiring from UOP in 2002 after 15 years of service. She enjoyed retirement with her family for 15 years and was a long time member and supporter of St. Cecilia Church and Catholic Charities. Janice was the beloved wife of the late John R. “Jack” Guskey; loving mother of Susan G. (Gregory) Bleidorn, Carolyn A. (Brian) Bleidorn and the late James J. Guskey; cherished grandmother of Alyssa, Nicholas, Alexander and Nathan; dear sister of Dick (Dorothy) Ciecko, Dan (Phyllis) Ciecko, Christine Mosca and John (Jane) Ciecko; also, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday October 6, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
Visitation Saturday October 7, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 700 S. Meier Rd., Mt, Prospect, IL 60056.
Interment All Saints Cemetery.
